Burden is a fire performer, dance fusionist, and performance artist currently based in the SouthWest. Drawing on the beauty of the world around her, her eclectic style is largely self-taught which lends an incredibly unique and brilliant personality to her performance.
Discovering her passion for learning and dance at a very young age, Burden eventually left the path of attending formal dance lessons and began experimenting on her own time. While she loves being in a classroom setting with her peers when she can, her preferred learning style is observation and to share skills and inspiration with others as equals.
She tends to work backwards; beginning with an outcome in mind, she then creates the tools and learns the skills necessary to attain her goal. Along the way the original concept grows and evolves, providing inspiration for other great ideas, and the process begins all over again!
Preferring to surround herself with inspiring, creative people who appreciate the magic in every aspect of life as she does, Burden enjoys collaborating and trading knowledge with her friends and heroes. She is well known within the performance arts community for fire safety awareness, her passion and respect for creative expression, and her innovative dance concept development.
